Welcome to Macquarie Community College and Macquarie Business Training Centre at the commencement of Term 4 2009. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  I am Rob Parsons, the new CEO of the college. I took up my appointment this term and look forward to the many challenges ahead. I hope to be able to bulild on the dedicated work done over the last fifteen years by the retiring CEO, George Papallo, in establishing the foundations of Macquarie Community College and building it into one of Sydney's leading community based educational facilities. 

Together with the talented and committed staff, I hope to lead the College in new and innovative ways of serving our community. Our mission is to provide accessible and affordable vocational and recreational courses of the highest standard for all members of our community. With the range and diversity of courses on offer we have something for everyone who is keen to learn. In order to continually foster innovation we welcome community contribution and are always happy to receive suggestions for new courses. Doing one of our courses is not just about acquiring new skills, it is also an opportunity to connect with others in your community.
